International Conference on Resource-Efficient Construction using Sustainable Building Materials

As part of our research project, “German-Vietnamese Collaborative Project on Resource-efficient Construction using Sustainable Building Materials” (ReBuMat), we have the objective to promote research and develop building materials and construction methods for energy-efficient, resource-saving and generally sustainable construction in Vietnam and other places with similar conditions.

Furthermore, through international networking and interdisciplinary problem analysis, fundamental research and creative practice orientation, ReBuMat aims to transfer scientific results and knowledge-based standards into practical construction and planning in the world’s regions with dynamic construction activity.

An important part of our networking is to bring together researchers, experts, companies and other stakeholders from this field at two connected hybrid conferences:

ReBuMat 2023

International Conference on Resource-Efficient
Construction using Sustainable Building Materials

The event will cover the following topics:

  • bio-based building materials
  • recycled building materials
  • resource-efficient and recyclable building systems
  • structural integration and the development of adapted structures
  • material characterisation and life-cycle assessment
  • material governance
  • scalable applications
  • further topics in the field of interest
